My 150-Day Facial Contouring and Revision Rhinoplasty Journey

Before Surgery

I came to Made Young because I wanted to address both my facial contour and my nose. My treatment included zygoma reduction, buccal fat removal, revision rhinoplasty and alar reduction.

Since I was having several procedures together, I knew that I would need to give my face and nose time to settle. My before-surgery photos became the starting point for following the changes over the next five months.

Before surgery: My appearance before facial contouring and revision rhinoplasty.

About the Clinic’s Approach

Made Young uses 3D-CT analysis when planning facial contouring and revision rhinoplasty. The clinic also has full-time anesthesiology specialists and operates a separate post-care center. The exact surgical and aftercare plan is determined individually after consultation.

Early Recovery

My first postoperative photos were taken on days 2 and 6. These were still very early stages, so I understood that what I saw at that point would not represent my final appearance.

By day 14, I had three early sets of photos to compare. They show why it is helpful to look at recovery as a gradual process rather than focus too closely on a single day.

Day 2: Two days after surgery, at the start of my recovery.
Day 6: My early progress as the treated areas continued to heal.
Day 14: Two weeks after surgery, with healing still in progress.

Progress Over Time

I took another photo at 30 days. Although I had moved beyond the earliest stage, my facial contour and nose were still developing.

The next photos were taken at 90 days. Comparing them with the day 2, 6, 14, and 30 images made the gradual changes easier to follow. Having several photo stages gave me a more realistic picture of recovery than a simple before-and-after comparison.

Day 30: My appearance one month after surgery.
Day 90: My three-month progress at a later stage of healing.

150-Day Result

My latest photographs were taken 150 days after surgery. Looking through the complete series, I can see how my facial contour and nasal appearance developed over approximately five months.

Day 150: My latest documented appearance, approximately five months after surgery.

For me, the photographs between the “before” and the latest result are an important part of the story. They show that healing takes place step by step and that the appearance seen during the first days or weeks can continue to change.
